We ski in a variety of locations depending on snow conditions. On weekday we ski as close to Ellensburg as possible where there is good grooming. On weekends we ski at Cabin Creek or travel to other areas for races. Our usual locations are shown below. Many require a SnoPark Permit, available at Mountain High Sports, Ellensburg Chamber of Commerce or online here. Cabin Creek also requires the "Special Groomed Sticker" as well.
Plan A: Rotary Park

Plan B: Manastash Creek
Drive Umptanum Road, turn right on Manastash Road, continue 11 miles to SnoPark at end of pavement. SnoPark Permit Required. (25-30 minutes from town) |
Plan C: Blewett Pass
Drive US97 North, park in SnoPark on Right at Blewett Pass. SnoPark Permit Required (40-45 minutes from town) |
Cabin Creek- our usual weekend location. Drive I-90 to exit 63. Park in SnoPark on left. Walk back across freeway to skiing. SnoPark Permit required plus special groomed trail sticker.

Iron Creek - Iron Creek is a new nonmotorized area that is occasionally groomed for classic. Drive US 97 towards Blewett Pass and park on left 2.2 miles past Mineral Springs Store.

Elk Heights- Elk Heights is sometimes groomed for skiing. Take I-90 to exit 93. Turn left and cross freeway continue parallel to freeway about 1 mile to parking. (20-25 minutes from town)
